About Los Cabos
Situated at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula over 1,000 miles from the US-Mexico border, Los Cabos is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, stunning desert terrain and the Sea of Cortez. In many ways, Cabo's island-like isolation is a great part of its appeal to safety conscious travelers. The hundreds of thousands of visitors who visit Los Cabos each year experience a very high-level of safety and security as well as warm hospitality and luxurious accommodations.
Los Cabos is home to two distinct towns: Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Both are safe, clean, and have modern services like bank machines, good medical facilities, mobile phone providers, and Internet cafes. English is spoken in hotels, and in most stores and restaurants.

In Cabo San Lucas, you can dive into thrilling activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and sport fishing or relax on pristine beaches.
Explore El Arco rock formation, enjoy vibrant nightlife, sample delicious cuisine, and shop for unique souvenirs. Take advantage of historic landmarks like Mission San Lucas and the Cultural Pavilion, or venture nearby San Jose del Cabo for traditional Mexican culture. Is Cabo Safe?
YES! Cabo is very safe! Tourism powers this charming beach city, it’s a very popular tourist destination and it’s very important to the city of to keep people safe. You’ll see security around but nothing imposing. It is safe to take cabs and ubers here, and your hotel can also help assist you with transportation to town or your outings.
What Should I Bring?
Your Flip Flops! You’ll want to be comfortable as you walk around the resort and of course on the beach. If you decide to go on any outings, especially boat outings, flip flops will be important! The Resort is lovely and well stocked, but if you prefer a favorite sunscreen, be sure to bring it. Most people like to bring their favorite sun hat and beach coverup. It should be warm in the evenings but some people like to have a wrap for al fresco dining. In addition to the necessary attire for the wedding, this is your opportunity to soak up the sun and wear your favorite festive beach fashion.
Is it easy to get to Cabo?
YES! Many airlines fly in and out of Cabo, and the customs process is VERY easy. They have just updated their airport and the entrance and exit is a breeze. Additionally, a diverse range of airlines offers flights to Cabo San Lucas, catering to travelers from various regions across North America and beyond. Major carriers such as American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines operate regular direct flights from key transportation hubs like SLC, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, and Denver. Don’t forget your passport!

Is the water safe to drink?
While it’s always best to drink bottled water, and your hotel will provide you with plenty of water to drink, the tap water won’t make you sick, especially at the Four Seasons where all their water is run through intense filtration systems and is purified. You’ll have no issue using tap water to brush your teeth or shower in and you’ll be fine having water with ice.
Do I need to exchange money?
Nope! Cabo is one of the few places in Mexico that readily accepts U.S. dollars. Also, most people speak English, so it’s a great first introduction to this beautiful country and all it has to offer.
